Sichuan Beauty Industry Association

Founded in 1995 with approval from the Sichuan Provincial Civil Affairs Department, the Sichuan Beauty & Hair Industry Chamber of Commerce has been operating for over 30 years. Its original supervisory authority was the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce. Since its establishment, the Chamber has upheld the values of “Heritage · Diligence · Pragmatism · Innovation”, supporting the survival and growth of small and micro enterprises and helping businesses connect with high-quality resources. Based in Sichuan, it cooperates nationwide and exchanges globally.
 
The Chamber strictly complies with national laws and regulations, establishing comprehensive workflows and management systems. Regular meetings of the Business Council and the General Assembly unite beauty industry professionals in Sichuan, facilitating discussions and providing strategic advice to promote the development of the local beauty sector.
 
Over the years, the Chamber has established various specialized committees and organized a wide range of engaging events. Looking ahead, it aims to become a shared platform for trade, learning, and communication for beauty industry professionals across Western China.

Founded on April 16, 1990, the China Hair & Beauty Association (CHBA) is a nationwide industry organization officially approved by the national social organization registration authority. In 1998, CHBA joined the World Hair Organization (OMC), and in 2006 became the OMC’s official representative in China.
CHBA is a non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, individuals, and local industry groups engaged in the hair and beauty industry. Its headquarters are located in Beijing. The association’s members come from all 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, covering the entire hair and beauty industry chain, including production, distribution, and retail sectors. The highest authority of CHBA is the General Assembly of Members, supported by an Executive Council and Secretariat.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand membership.
  • Establish industry regulations, codes of conduct, and self-regulation mechanisms; assist the government in industry management.
  • Conduct industry research and release market information.
  • Promote new technologies and innovations.
  • Organize competitions, exchanges, training programs, and collaboration.
  • Host exhibitions and publish professional journals.
  • Provide consulting and platform services.
  • Safeguard members’ legal rights and interests.

CHBA is committed to professionalism, authority, and industry guidance, closely aligning with markets, enterprises, and consumers. Its mission is to promote Chinese hair and beauty culture and advance the development of China’s hair and beauty industry. While managing and serving the industry, CHBA actively fosters exchanges and cooperation with international counterparts.
